Simon is the creative mind behind ST16’s award winning work - from hugely successful social media campaigns to international corporate communications.

In his ten years as Creative Director of ST16, Simon’s managed and directed projects for a diverse range of high profile clients, from The Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards to Fujitsu UK and Marston’s Pub Company. He’s also been busy filling the ST16 trophy cabinet, developing the Royal Television Society Award winning ‘Speed Dating’ and IVCA Gold winning ‘Steamed Up’ social media campaigns from idea through to completion.

Simon has a wealth of experience managing projects in the UK designed to work across cultures but has also directed many film crews around the globe including Europe, the USA and South America.

A corporate communications specialist, Simon has trained in creative problem-solving and change communication with the internationally renowned CPSB Inc., USA. With expertise and repeated success in social media and viral marketing, Simon has also spoken at events and seminars nation-wide, including social media conferences (successful campaigns and how to evaluate effectiveness), Road Safety GB and the Association of Health Communicators conferences. 

Prior to co-founding ST16 he worked at the world's largest IT outsourcing company, EDS, working alongside senior government officials on high profile communications projects nationwide.

Outside ST16, Simon is a Governor and has guest lectured at Staffordshire University and is a judge for the 2010 New York Film & Television Festival. He’s also chaired a local business task group and volunteered with Young Enterprise and other charities.

Likes: Matchbox Twenty (the band), House (the TV show), snowboarding and mountain biking.
Dislikes: Breakfast, weak tea and flight delays.
