ST16 at Chinese event on social media

29th October 2011 - 11:21am by Jeremy Stinton

IVCA china social media eventNǐ hǎo! I am very excited to be jetting off to China next week to speak at the China International Creative Design Week in Chengdu. As specialists in viral video production and social media, the IVCA have asked ST16 to share some of our expertise and successful case studies with fellow business people in China.

If you find yourself in Chengdu next week do pop in! The over 500 delegate event is being hosted by, among others, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Central Academy of Fine Arts of China. I will be joined on stage by Marco Forgione, CEO of the International Visual Communicators Association. Some of the other guest speakers include Fischer Herve, President of the IFMA and Ping Li, President of the World China Network Association.

The event aims to increase Chinese companies’ awareness of the value of creative services and facilitate the development of its creative sector. From a European point of view, it’s an opportunity to increase our understanding of the Chinese market and forge links with Chinese business. And just maybe sample some local Sichuan cuisine...
