What a week! Last Wednesday saw ST16 win two great awards - the IVCA Clarion Viral: Public Sector Award for our Vampire Viral for NHS Northamptonshire and a Highly Commended Award for our Crashproof Viral for Safer Roads. Whoop whoop!
We’re all incredibly proud of these projects and the amazing results they’ve helped achieve for our clients. And of course big kudos to our excellent team of freelancers and partners who have provided everything from vampire teeth to a stunning audio mix.
For the Crashproof Viral Award a big shout out to our police rider, van stunt driver and all the crew at Millbrook Race Track. The team at Safer Roads are dedicated and great fun to work with, we’ve thoroughly enjoyed this project. If you want to find out how we managed to fake a bike crash and get millions of worldwide views check out Simon’s blog post here. Most importantly the viral has achieved real world results - a 1200% increase in web traffic to the bike training website and a big increase in the number of motorcyclists getting the extra training that will help keep them safe on the roads.
NHS Northamptonshire have been a blast to work with and are showing other NHS regions how its done. The dentistry team are clearly passionate about promoting their services and reaching out to young people. Big thanks to NHS Portsmouth also who bought the viral to use in their region and are now screening it as a cinema commercial. It was very exciting to see the viral project feature positively in national press earlier in the year - from the Daily Mail to the Guardian viral video chart. We are also very cheered to see a 52% month on month increase in the numbers of young people attending a dentist locally. It’s only a matter of time before Northamptonshire becomes the fittest county...
