Beach Viral Launched

Following the success of their award-winning, 3.6 Million youtube view, drink-drive viral ‘Steamed Up’, ST16 have launched another viral film aimed at young drivers.

The viral forms part of the ‘Best Mate’ campaign, produced by road safety publicity specialist ‘Stennik’. The campaign urges young people to consider the possible outcomes of poor driving on their passengers.

The campaign is based on research conducted in 2007, which showed that the outcome most young drivers dread is being responsible for a crash in which one of their passengers is killed, maimed, disabled or brain damaged.

Participating in the campaign are: The Safer Roads Partnership in West Mercia, Gloucestershire Safety Camera Partnership, Warwickshire Casualty Reduction Partnership, West Midlands Casualty Reduction Scheme, Staffordshire Casualty Reduction Partnership and Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership.
