ST16 Nominated for two more IVCA awards

ST16 are delighted to be nominated in two categories at this year’s International Visual Communicator’s Association Awards. The team will be donning their tuxes at the glitzy awards ceremony in the Grosvenor House Hotel in London in March.

Nominated in the ‘Recruitment’ Category is the ‘New Landlord’s Media Pack’ for Marston’s Pub Company. Featuring interviews with a fascinating variety of Marston’s landlords – from ex-soldiers to single mums – the film aims to tell potential publicans what a life pulling pints is really like. A mixture of humour, candid advice and practical steps the film is already proving popular with new Marston’s recruits.

Hit viral film ‘Speed Dating’ has been nominated for the prestigious Industry Award for Effective Communication. Commissioned by Road Safety for North West, the film aims to prevent young driver distraction.  With over 6 million views it’s been causing a huge stir online, in addition to scooping a Royal Television Society Award in October 2009.

Despite the UK barely surfacing out of recession, ST16 continues to go from strength to strength. Strategy and Operations Director Jeremy Stinton is positive about what 2010 will bring for the company, ‘The IVCA is an internationally recognised stamp of excellence – and we’re justifiably proud to have two projects in the running for an award. From our experience with previous IVCA wins, we’re confident this recognition will bring plenty more opportunities to create innovative media solutions for our clients.’
