Shooting high... definition

Everybody’s talking about HD, or High Definition. And now ST16 are making its stunning high resolution and amazing colour reproduction available to clients through an   investment in Sony’s state-of-the-art XDCAM High Definition video format. The quality difference is clear, whether on large screen projection or streaming video on a website.

And the benefits to clients go further, since the XDCAM format records HD pictures directly to 'Blu-Ray' DVD disc. Uncut footage can be dragged as files directly into an edit suite, speeding up workflow and delivering projects to increasingly tight deadlines.

Editing work can now start minutes after filming thanks to proxy files created by the camera that can be e-mailed direct to the edit suite – even if the footage is shot on the other side of the world!
